OUR STORY
This all started with a longing for Greek summers.
I grew up in Greece, and spent every summer by the sea, long, slow summers, the kind of afternoons that go on forever, the smell of salt and sun cream, coming out of the water and wrapping up in a warm towel. After years in London, I realised I didn't just miss the place. I missed that whole way of living.
So I started LiTTLE MARiNER to bring a bit of it back and to share it.

Soft as the Greek light.
I grew up reading Odysseas Elytis, the Greek poet who wrote about the light, the sea and the summers of the Aegean. Our name comes from one of his works, The Little Mariner and that's the feeling I wanted the brand to carry.
Our colours come from that world, the blue of the sky and the sea, the green of olive trees, the warmth of sun-bleached walls. And there's more to come: every new piece adds another colour from the same place.

Made slowly, made to last.
We make everything in Portugal, with a supplier who has a long tradition in towelling. Our pieces are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, and the fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified too, free of harmful substances, soft from the very first use, and made to last for years.
We don't follow trends or seasons. We make a few good things, carefully, and we stand behind all of them.
Where summer comes from.
LiTTLE MARiNER is a brand with a simple hope: that the things you reach for every day can carry a little bit of that Greek summer with them, wherever you are.
Thank you for being here.
